The Institute for Innovation Materials, Processing and Numerical Technologies (IMPACT) is a £35 million state-of-the-art engineering research institute. The institute forms part of Swansea University’s College of Engineering and is located in the Engineering North building on the university’s Bay Campus.
As a centre of excellence, IMPACT’s key objective is to help businesses and industry find innovative solutions in the areas of materials, processing and numerical technologies, driven by intensive collaboration between industry and academia. Coupled with a cutting edge laboratory, workshop and specialist equipment, it offers an ideal co-location facility for fundamental research.
